Wij geloven dat CrossFit geschikt is voor iedereen, ongeacht leeftijd. Elke oefening is namelijk aan te passen aan jouw niveau. Wel kunnen we het ons voorstellen dat het fijn is om op je eigen tempo, in een ongedwongen sfeer en met leeftijdsgenoten te sporten. Om deze reden bieden wij een speciale lessen voor 50+’ers aan.
Volgens de beweegrichtlijn zouden volwassenen wekelijks ten minste 2,5 uur half matig intensief moeten bewegen en daarnaast spier- en botwerksterkende activiteiten moeten doen. Dit alles verlaagt het risico op chronische ziekten als diabetes, hart- en vaatziekten, depressieve symptomen en botbreuken. Door met onze CrossFit lessen mee doen kun je hier een perfecte invulling aan geven.
CrossFit is een allround trainingsprogramma gericht op de verbetering van kracht, uithoudingsvermogen, beweeglijkheid, balans, coördinatie en meer. We werken met functionele bewegingen welke in het dagelijks leven worden toegepast. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan een ‘deadlift’ wanneer je iets oppakt van de grond, of een ‘squat’ als je opstaat uit een stoel of een ‘farmers walk’ wanneer je de boodschap tassen tilt. Daarmee zeggen we eigenlijk: Door aan CrossFit te doen ben je ‘prepared for whatever life throws at you’!

Together with @trainingsstudionl , we provide the training locations for this amazing group of passionate weightlifters — including some dedicated members of CFT. Our own coach and National Champion @noelle_klg is one of the initiators behind this fantastic project.
This Sunday, they’ll be taking on their first official team competition in Almere, and we couldn’t be more excited to cheer them on!

We are hosting an in-house powerlifting competition on May 10! 💪 Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned lifter, this event is for you! In this full-day event you will test your 1-rep maxes on the squat, bench press, and deadlift, cheer for your fellow athletes, and celebrate with a pizza party at the end! 🍕
This event is really a testday for everyone, also if you are not joining the powerlifting classes.
The participation fee is only 10€. Registration is open for all members and old members.

This week we will be finishing the backsquat strength cycle in the powerlifting classes. The 8 weeks leading up to the powerlifting meet will be used for preparation, focusing on technique, making sure weight and volume is tapered and everyone can peak at the CFT Iron Lift-Off 2025💪
