MEET COACH JOSÉ 🤝🏼

How long have you been coaching at CrossFit Twente?
I started one year ago as an assistant coach for the “Intro lessons” every Saturday morning. I also help out with the regular classes from time to time.

What is your training background and why do we see you training for yourself mostly at CFT?
I was in the military for almost 10 years and started with CrossFit in 2021. The discipline of CrossFit training is both physically and mentally challenging, which I find very rewarding. Since 2023, I’ve been training exclusively in Olympic weightlifting here at CFT. 🏋🏼‍♀️

What do you enjoy most about being a coach?
I love seeing people achieve their personal goals and grow stronger. The team spirit that emerges in group sessions is also something I really enjoy witnessing. 💪🏼

How do you think the members would describe you?
I think they’d describe me as the coach with Latin music, good vibes, and tough workouts. 😎 Maybe even a bit like a soldier..😂🫡
