GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS CROSSFIT TWENTE
Art. 1 Applicability
These conditions apply to all members of CrossFit Twente. Members are deemed to have read the terms and conditions before signing the contract and by signing declare to accept the terms and conditions without reservation.
Art. 2 Membership
Membership is understood to mean an agreement for an indefinite period whereby the member can participate in the lessons associated with this membership.
Art. 3 Membership fees
Each member pays a membership fee corresponding to the chosen type of membership. The membership fee is paid in monthly installments in advance through automatic collection. CrossFit Twente periodically determines the amount and design of the new membership fees.
A Prepaid card (10 credits) is valid for one year from the date of purchase and is not automatically renewed.
Art. 4 Duration and cancellation of Membership
The membership is concluded for an indefinite period of time and is automatically extended for a period of 1 month at the then applicable rates. Membership can be cancelled by sending an e-mail to info@crossfittwente.nl, subject to a notice period of 1 month from the date of cancellation.
Art. 5 Interim Membership Changes
During the membership period, a member can choose another membership. Changes can be made immediately by the member himself via the app, with the exception of discounted memberships. For changes to discounted memberships, please send an e-mail to info@crossfittwente.nl.
Art. 6 Lessons
Crossfit Twente reserves the right to postpone or cancel scheduled lessons in connection with an official holiday, an insufficient number of participants in the opinion of Crossfit Twente, holidays, absenteeism of the trainer, any form of force majeure or other Crossfit Twente circumstances to be determined without the right to refund or compensation in any form whatsoever.
Members are required to register for classes via the app. If members cannot participate in the class, they are obliged to cancel the reservation.
Art. 7 Pause
The member can pause the membership in the event of a minimum absence of 4 weeks, provided that the intention is to reactivate the membership after a certain or indefinite period of time. To pause the membership, the member sends an email to info@crossfittwente.nl with the pause date and, where possible, the activation date.
Art. 7 Member Conduct
Members do not abuse the materials or facilities of CrossFit Twente and adhere to the house rules stated on the website. Any damage to property, caused intentionally or through apparent fault, must be fully compensated by the member concerned. Incorrect, rude or aggressive behavior may result in termination of membership.
Art. 8 Liability
Members use the materials of CrossFit Twente at their own responsibility and risk. CrossFit Twente excludes any responsibility of its or one of its trainers for personal damage or death of a member while participating in classes and staying in the accommodation, whether or not the materials present are used. Each member indemnifies CrossFit Twente against any liability towards third parties for damage suffered by the third party in question during his or her presence in the accommodation as a result of acts or omissions on the part of the member.
Art. 9 Footage
Members indicate in the app whether they allow CrossFit Twente to use photographic images and other types of recordings of groups and/or individuals for editorial publication or promotional purposes. If an image or recording is used by mistake, CrossFit Twente is not liable for this and the member can submit a request to remove the images or recording. CrossFit Twente will grant the request as soon as possible.
Art. 9 Privacy and data storage
Personal data is only used for internal purposes and to optimize the user experience. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties for profit purposes, in accordance with global data protection law. Personal data is stored safely and securely with CrossFit Twente or our partner SportBit Manager. CrossFit Twente coaches and employees who have access to personal data will only use this access for internal purposes and not for personal interest or financial gain.
EXTRA CONDITIONING CLASS 🔥
To help you take your cardiovascular endurance to the next level, we’re expanding our conditioning offering. In addition to our succesfull Friday Conditioning class, we’re adding a brand new session on Wednesdays, focused on VO2 Max & Threshold training.
Both classes are designed to improve your aerobic capacity, stamina, and overall fitness—perfect whether you’re training for a specific event or just want to push your limits.
Conditioning | VO2 Max & Threshold
Wednesdays at 8 PM
This new class targets two essential endurance systems: VO2 max (your body’s ability to use oxygen) and threshold (your ability to hold a hard pace). Together, they’re key to improving performance and building a solid aerobic engine.
Led by Coach Steve—a seasoned trail runner with multiple ultra marathons under his belt—each session starts with a clear explanation. Steve trains alongside you, but he’s always open to questions.
ConditioningÂ
Fridays at 5 PM
This class focuses on longer efforts and higher volume. Less skill, more grind. It’s ideal for HYROX athletes, obstacle racers, trail runners, or anyone wanting a tough conditioning workout to cap off the week.
Also coached by Steve, who brings his deep experience and energy to every session. He is excited to help you with everything you need to prepare for an event.
Both classes are open to all levels. Join us and start building serious endurance.

As of July 1st, 2025, Emre Atas (almost 25) will take over CrossFit Twente as the new owner. Born and raised in Enschede, Emre is a passionate fitness entrepreneur and founder of @fitmetelkaar.nl

Hero WOD MURPH
Murph is one of the most iconic workouts in CrossFit. This Hero WOD is done around the world in honor of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who gave his life during Operation Red Wings in 2005. It’s a challenging, symbolic workout that brings the community together.
For time:
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 airsquats
1 mile run
Performed with a weight vest.
As always, scaling options are available for all levels.
We will do Murph on ascension day, May 29.
